PSP Unlocking

I remember reading about it and i am pretty sure it was more than just a rumor. Apparently ps3 bought exclusives and it stated that you would get 5 extra weapons (A lot I know, almost too much to be true) if you bought PsP’s Assassin’s creed: bloodlines. By buying bloodlines and (I think) you hook up your PsP to your ps3 and it would unlock the extras in this way. I’m really not too sure about that last part, but in all honesty I’m not pulling this out of my @ss, i did not just hear this from a friend and got it from various articles. This was a while ago, so i can’t cite my sources, is it true or false?
Does anyone have any idea what these weapons are?

For-fun weapons? Not entirely practical for fighting, but are entertaining.
The “Use and Drop weapons” Like a polearm he steals, uses, and discards
Or personal on hand weapons like his daggers.

These extras they put in kinda deter me from buying it, if these 6 weapons are all that, and a must have i’d rather not have the game at all then pay another 40$ for the full experience
